In October 1962, at the height of the Cuban crisis, people can still remember WWII, the bombs
and the Nazi occupation terror. Norbi, a 12 year old who lives in a typical small industrial town in
southern Luxembourg, is confronted by all kinds of mysteries he doesn‘t understand because
no one explained anything to children. Not the authoritarian father, who owns a bookshop,
not
even Fred, who talks about Nazis, opponents and above all, collaborators. One day, Norbi writes
this word
on his father‘s shop window. The whole neighbourhood is outraged. For Norbi, it is
time to show that he is no longer a child. During this year Norbi will learn a lot of things... and
his father will amazingly realize that he no longer has the last word
at home.
